After the Chaos Computer Club released their finding on how to bypass the fingerprint authentication of the iPhone 5S only 2 days after it was released, it was now the turn for Galaxy S5 to suffer similar faith only 4 days after it was released.
What’s worse is that the same type of fingerprint spoof used to bypass iPhone 5S was used to bypass Samsung Galaxy S5 fingerprint scanner. As if that was not bad enough, samsung did go the extra mile for their fingerprint scanner, and had it integrated with Paypal and other apps, that are now also vulnerable to this security flaw.
