NASA released their catalog of software that they are willing to share with some people, and they did it in a very original way – a 127 pages long .pdf file, with the name, reference and a small description of each of those programs and libraries.
Unfortunately most of the software is only available for the US Government, and even tools that could be useful for the general public are often only available for the United States.
The catalog is full of descriptions of what seems to be useful software, but it’s not worth the time if you are not in the United States, and most of the interesting projects are only available for the US Government.
